Closed beta: what works today
Followuply is free during the closed beta. Messages are sent through the official WhatsApp Business API, so you never connect your personal WhatsApp and your own number is never at risk.
Current limitation
Right now messages go out from a Followuply test number, and WhatsApp requires every recipient to opt in once by sending a join message to it. Because of that, the beta is not ready for your real clients yet — use it with your own number and a few contacts who agree to opt in.
What changes next
Sending from your own business number, with no opt-in required from your contacts. That step depends on business verification with Meta and is the next milestone of the project.
